Today is National Cherry Pie day and in honor of that delectable holiday, Management One would like to share some local \u201cpie holes\u201d you don\u2019t want to miss! I should tell you I am a pie snob. So, these are my \u201ctastymonials\u201d of the best of OC. I must share, my first job was at a famous chain pie store and I learned a lot about baking pie and crust and if I must say, am pretty good at it myself. Finding the right balance of crust to filling ratio is key. These are my top favorites in OC. Enjoy!<\/div>\n

Blackbird Artisan Pie<\/h2>\n

If the name sounds familiar, it\u2019s because they are that great hand pie stand at the fair. You will also see them on the dessert menu at The Cellar Restaurant, but did you know they have a standalone shop right here in San Clemente? They offer gluten-free and sugar-free too. But if you must know, my personal fav is their banana Nutella hand pie. A little slice of heaven with some McConnell\u2019s ice cream. Shut Your Pie Hole Boutique Bakery<\/h2>\n

When a bakery has the word \u201cpie\u201d in its name and then adds a cute humorous twist, we know it\u2019s a winner. You won\u2019t find them on a map though, this pie boutique specialist is pick up or delivery only. Temporarily closed until May 1, 2024, orders are placed by telephone (949) 266-7305<\/a>. May I recommend Hillary\u2019s award-winning Carmel Apple Crumble? Both the Carmel Apple and the Pecan are the top sellers, but you can find the traditional Cherry and even some southern favorites like her sugar cream pie on her menu. Morika\u2019s Southern Delights<\/h2>\n

Yummy dessert caterers are located in Orange County, California. They specialize in baking delicious, down-home Southern Pies. Feeding a group or just yourself, they have you covered with their regular size pies or a mini pie. Not sure what to get that person that has it everything, why not a \u201cdessert of the month\u201d club membership. Morika\u2019s does not have a storefront, as they are a Dessert Catering company. All their desserts are lovingly handmade from scratch in small batches, using only the finest natural ingredients available \u201cjust like Grandma used to make!\u201d You can even request reduced sugar.
